In 1996, Rhode Island launched The Met, a high school built around relationships, student interests, and learning beyond the classroom. Advisor Andrew Frishman guided fifteen students through four years, helping them discover their passions and connect with mentors.

The Advisory: Class of 2006 follows their reunions, tracing how an experiment in education shaped their lives. Alongside their stories, today’s Met students share their experiences, exploring what this approach to school offers a new generation—and what its future might hold.
